He was active from 1756 to 1803. The spoon has a playing child as a crown and was used to sprinkle sugar, but could also be used to scoop up wet fruit. The spreading spoon is hallmarked with master mark BS, city mark Schoonhoven, tax mark and year letter C for 1776 The box has restoration traces and a crack.
